Remember that users can have two types of permissions:
- The access type that defines what the user is able to do, e.g. see billing info or add vehicles, etc.
- The site permissions, which allows a user to view, create, update or remove information from within specific sites.
Say for instance I want to edit a user and I have the relevant admin rights, but I do not have rights to the site of the user, I will not be able to perform the action. See the depiction below.
Logging into the Manage users screen, some users cannot be edited (i.e. their first name is not green and clickable) and there is no site permission icon to add their site permissions:
This means that I as an admin user do not have permissions to the site this user belongs to. Get the necessary site permissions from an admin user with rights to this site, and you will be able to perform the action.
